U.S.A Tourism

Every day, 10,000 people enter New York Grand Central Terminal—with no intention of catching a train. They come to slurp bivalves at the Oyster Bar or cocktails at the Campbell Apartment. They gawk at the ceiling embellished with gold constellations, browse shops, and take tours.

  • National Mall and Memorial Parks
  • Denali National Park
  • Kilauea
  • Florida Keys

U.S. A Parks

There are many thousands of parks scattered across the United States of America. They range from tiny little neighborhood playgrounds and individual buildings of historical significance to immense tracts of wilderness and natural beauty larger than some nations. The US parks can be loosely categorized into:

  • National Parks
  • State Parks
  • Local Parks
  • Private Parks

U.S. A Shopping

Shopping is an important part of many traveler visits to the US. Variety, late-closing hours, competitive prices and an abundance of retail goods typify US shopping. Many small stores, specialty food shops, and hypermarkets are open 24 hours a day in larger towns and cities.

Clothes and electronic goods can often be bought directly from factory outlet stores. Retail outlets range from flea markets and bargain stores to large chain department stores. Malls are a popular way of shopping in the USA and consist of a cluster of different shops in one building, often multi-level, connected by indoor plazas and eateries.
