Day 1 — Arrival in Helsinki Welcome to Finland! On arrival at Helsinki Airport, guests are met and transferred by private vehicle to their hotel in the city. The rest of the day is at leisure to settle in and explore the neighbourhood — the harbourfront, Market Square and the design district are all within easy reach. Overnight in Helsinki.
Day 2 — Helsinki City Sightseeing (SIC) After breakfast, join a shared sightseeing tour of the Finnish capital. Highlights typically include Senate Square and Helsinki Cathedral, Uspenski Cathedral, the Sibelius Monument, Temppeliaukio Rock Church (exterior/entrance subject to schedule) and the lively Market Square by the harbour. The afternoon and evening are free for independent exploration or optional excursions. Overnight in Helsinki.
Day 3 — Helsinki to Rovaniemi by Train After breakfast and check-out, a private vehicle transfers guests to Helsinki Central Railway Station for the train journey north to Rovaniemi, the official hometown of Santa Claus on the Arctic Circle (train tickets booked separately — see Pricing Terms). On arrival at Rovaniemi Railway Station, guests are met and transferred by private vehicle to their hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Rovaniemi.
Day 4 — Santa Claus Village & Reindeer Sled Ride (SIC) After breakfast, join a shared excursion to the famous Santa Claus Village, straddling the Arctic Circle. Cross the Arctic Circle line, meet Santa Claus himself and visit the Santa Claus Main Post Office, from where postcards can be sent with the special Arctic Circle postmark. The day also includes a traditional reindeer sled ride through the snow-covered forest at a local reindeer farm. Overnight in Rovaniemi.
Day 5 — Husky Safari & Northern Lights Tour (SIC) A day of true Lapland adventure. After breakfast, join a shared husky safari: after a short briefing, glide through the Arctic wilderness on a sled pulled by a team of eager huskies, with time afterwards to meet the dogs at the kennel. In the evening, head out of the city on a shared Northern Lights tour (Aurora hunt) with an experienced guide, away from light pollution, in search of the Aurora Borealis. Overnight in Rovaniemi.
Day 6 — Snowmobile Safari & Glass Igloo Night After breakfast and check-out from the city hotel, join a shared snowmobile safari across frozen terrain and through snowy forests, driving in pairs with full thermal gear and guidance provided by the operator. In the late afternoon, transfer to the Glass Igloo resort and check in to a heated glass-roofed igloo — fall asleep under the Arctic sky with a chance of watching the Northern Lights from bed. Overnight in a Glass Igloo.
Day 7 — Rovaniemi to Helsinki by Train After breakfast and check-out, a private vehicle transfers guests to Rovaniemi Railway Station for the return train journey to Helsinki (tickets booked separately). On arrival at Helsinki Central Railway Station, guests are met and transferred by private vehicle to their hotel. Evening at leisure for last-minute shopping or a farewell dinner. Overnight in Helsinki.
Day 8 — Departure After breakfast and check-out, a private vehicle transfers guests to Helsinki Airport for their onward flight, taking home memories of the Arctic that will last a lifetime.
